Turning an empty place into a contemporary house
MOOARC has designed the house La Concha a combination between traditional elements and new styles in architecture. What make almost all of people surprise is that it was built in the seperated island in 15th century and now become a contemporary house. The modern house is comfortable and it combines natural materials like wood and stone. The façade reveals grey and blue stone and the tiled roof with its roof –top windows fit the surroundings.
Another special feature in the design of this house is making the interior completely visible from the outside. The interior has a contemporary aspect and glass is dominant material used. The presence of bricks in the design relates more to the traditional style.
The kitchen and the main living room are the most lit rooms in the house. There is a balance when it comes to the overall design since nothing seems out of place ,the different styles-old and new-combined create a sense of luxury and comfort

One of University Federal Credit Union’s Ben White Branch design in Texas
It is hardly to believe that this design is for an University. Located in Austin, Texas, University Federal Credit Union’s Ben White Branch designed by the firm of Jackson and McElhaney Architects with the idea of giving shape to the environmentalist mission of the credit union. The way they wanted to enliven this is through the way in which the building adapts and responds to its surroundings. They paid careful attention to its orientation, the kind of glass they used and the way it was complemented, the shade and lighting, and also the landscaping. This last item was designed to be inviting and pleasing to the potential clients, while the interior was designed with efficiency in mind. The large hall is bright and well aired with light colors all around and a practical disposition of furniture.

Attracted office interior design of Kamat & Rozario Architecture for White Canvas firm
Kamat & Rozario Architecture has design office for the White Canvas firm - an independent advertising agency.
According from White Canvas firm, their office should have several closed rooms for different meetings and discussions and each of these spaces was designed as a different canvas space, thus each has its own character and personality according to the users. These closed spaces are actually designed as mobile containers and the carpentry used for building them comes from waste pieces of blockboard panels with the final construction done on site.
The three containers were placed in the middle of the office space so that the illumination and windows weren’t covered or disturbed in any way. Surrounded by work areas and informal break spaces the containers became a meeting room, a thinking/idea room and the creative director’s seat.
